Collection: Nomads

Nomads has been dedicated to creating beautiful, ethical, Fair Trade clothing for more than 30 years.

Born from a love of India and its wonderfully vibrant culture, the Nomads journey began in Pushkar, Rajasthan where Nomads original founders met in 1989.

After exploring India together, they spent the last of their travel money on a selection of fair trade handicrafts from Nepal and brought them back to the UK to sell at the first ever Nomads market stall in Camden, London.

The success of these market stalls soon saw us enter the world of wholesale and manufacturing our own products, where we began to build lifelong relationships with artisan producers and Fair Trade factories in India.

We’ve come a long way since the beginning, but celebrating India’s artisan heritage is still a core element of their design and production process. From handloom textiles to intricate embroidery details, Nomads continues to create ethical, Fair Trade clothing using the very best quality natural fibres, GOTS certified organic cotton and traditional artisan techniques. All exclusively-designed prints are created with azo free, environmentally approved dyes.

Style shouldn’t come at a cost to people, animals or the planet. By embracing the slow fashion movement, Nomads take the time to ensure quality production, to give value to the skilled hands that produce each product, and to contemplate their connection with the environment. Nomads are proud supporters of the Fashion Revolution campaign and encourage consumers to ask: Who made your clothes?
